BROCCOLI

 

 

Broccoli - California grows nearly 98% of the nation's broccoli. Broccoli is also a hardy vegetable of the cabbage family that is high in vitamins A and D. The deep green vegetable is a colorful addition to any plate.

 

 

Broccoli Rabe - Broccoli Rabe has long, thin, leafy stalks topped with small florets that look like tiny broccoli florets. It has a bitter yet zesty flavor with an intense green color perfect for spicing up any dishes.

 

 

Broccoflower - A cross between broccoli and cauliflower, Its appearance is the same as a cauliflower except it is light, bright green in color. Broccoflower has a slightly sweeter taste than cauliflower and is great raw or cooked.

 

 

Broccolini - A cross between broccoli and Chinese kale, broccolini has a long, slender, juicy stem like asparagus, and is topped with small flavorful flowering buds. Broccolini is sometimes known as baby broccoli.
