Bluelake Beans -The Bluelake bean is the most common of the green bean family. The bluelake adds great color, crisp texture, and a wonderful flavor to any meal.

 

Baby French Beans - Also known as haricots verts the baby french is very similar to the bluelake. The baby french has long, straight and thin flat pods which are picked before full maturity for tenderness.


Yellow Wax Beans - A snap bean which is similar to the bluelake, makes it a great sight on any plate with its yellow color. The Yellow Wax is also picked before full matuity for extra tenderness.

Chinese Long Beans - While chinese long beans grow from one to three feet in length they are usually cut into three to six inch peices. Although sweeter, meatier, and more flexible than the bluelake they are not as crisp or moist.
