Twin Peaks Orchards was established in 1912 and has been family owned and operated for more than 100 years. They are a fifth generation family farm which supplies Produce Express with a variety of exceptional fruit.
Owari Satsuma Mandarins– A seedless, easy to peel mandarin with rich, tart-sweet flavor. Satsuma Mandarins thrive in the foothills of Placer County as both elevation and the pattern of cool nights contribute to a healthy crop. 25# case or by the pound.
Meyer Lemons– The Meyer is somewhat smaller than a regular lemon, rounder in shape with smooth skin. They have a distinct taste as the flesh is much less acidic, making them sweeter than other varieties. Available by the 10# case or by the pound.
Fuyu Persimmons– Sweet and mild, non-astringent, and can be eaten as soon as they are picked. The flesh is crisp like an apple and are excellent in salads, on a cheese board, baked, or enjoyed out of hand. Keep in mind, locally grown persimmons are smaller in size than commercial varieties. Sold by the 24ct case only. 
Amagaki Persimmons– Also known as cinnamon persimmons, these sweet beauties are golden fleshed with brown flecks. Amagaki persimmons have a buttery texture and a cinnamon sweetness. They are more astringent than Fuyus but Twin Peaks has perfected a curing process that removes the astringency. It leaves the Amagaki crisp yet creamy with an unmatched sweet flavor. They are delicious enjoyed out of hand and in salads. They can not be baked or roasted but can be cooked at high temperatures for short amounts of time, such as on pizzas. Available in a 10# case only. Must specify Amagaki or Cinnamon when ordering..

NEW! Toma Truffle (10# wheel)- The perfect combination of classic Toma paired with the aromatic flavors of Italian Black Truffles from Umbria. Reminiscent of undergrowth, fresh strawberries, dried fruit, and a hint of cocoa, the earthy flavor marries beautifully with the buttery richness of Toma.
Original Blue (6.5# wheel)– Creamy texture and bold flavor, with hints of sweet milk, a peppery finish, and medium/strong blue flavor. Original Blue is wonderful as a stand-alone table cheese, for topping salads, melting onto burgers and steaks, mixing into pastas, on a cheese board with local honey, and much more. Rindless; aged 3.5 months.
Bay Blue (6# wheel)– A rustic style blue cheese, reminiscent of Stilton; known for its mellow flavor and sweet, salted caramel finish. Its texture is almost fudge-like with a beautiful natural rind; aged 90 days. Bay Blue compliments mushrooms or as a delicious after-dinner cheese, especially when paired with a Vintage Port or Barrel-Aged Scotch.
Toma (10# wheel)– A semi-hard table cheese perfect for any occasion. It has a creamy, buttery flavor and texture with a grassy tangy finish. Toma is a great melting cheese; perfect for pasta, risotto, sandwiches, burgers, vegetables, soups, and more. It also balances out a hop-heavy beer beautifully!
