Gruyere Cheese (Natural)
Gruyère is a type of Swiss cheese that is sweet but slightly salty, with a flavor that varies widely with age. It is often described as creamy and nutty when young, becoming earthy, complex and more assertive with age. Gruyère is a cow's milk cheese that features a few small holes or "eyes," but they are fewer, and smaller, than Emmental which is another variety of Swiss cheese.

Gruyere is an excellent melting cheese that is traditionally melted atop French Onion soup and used extensively in fondues and quiche. Other common uses for Gruyere cheese are Panini and grilled sandwiches, gratins, creamy pastas, pizzas, cheese plates and salads.
