Use is pasta dishes, pizzas, and risottos. Jimmy Nardello peppers pair well with fish, poultry, and lamb. Combine with other sweet peppers to make a gorgeous peperonata or marinated pepper side dish, salad or condiment.
This variety of pepper was originally from Basilicata, a southern region of Italy. It takes its name from seed saver Jimmy Nardello, who brought the seeds from Italy while immigrating to Connecticut in the late 1800's.
