Pepper - Shishito
Shishito peppers are sweet, thin skinned, and finger length. They are not hot....except when they are. About one in every dozen or so will be mildly hot with just enough heat to make you take notice.
Most commonly used as a shared starter or side dish by simply roasting or grilling over high heat until blistered, seasoned with good olive oil and sea salt.
